Key to the Heart

This card reminds us that the key to any season is to strengthen and heal the heart. The heart

carries the light, the love, the pure essence of the soul. The heart also can wall itself off, protect

from pain and trauma, it can weaken other parts of the body if it can't operate in the full sacred power of love. When you tune into your heart what comes up? Pain, shame, guilt or love, joy, passion and creativity? Can you unburden your heart? Can you surrender all that doesn't serve? It requires courage to open your heart. Can you get hurt? yes, but the alternative is closing yourself off from love and that would be a travesty.
